EAA 1288 is joining with Valkaria Airport to sponsor a float in the 2008 Melbourne Light Parade... come out and see us! The parade starts on December 8th at 6:00 pm at the Florida Marketplace on Babcock St. and Hibiscus Ave. in Melbourne. It proceeds south down Babcock and turns east onto US-192 (Strawbridge Ave.) and continues to its conclusion at Strawbridge and Waverly Place. The route is 2.5 miles long and takes about 2-3 hours to complete. Be there... you really don't want to miss seeing what we have "cooking" this year! We encourage all spectators to bring a new unwrapped toy and/or nonperishable food items to donate.
