We are sad to have to report that EAA 1288 member Bill Kirk passed away shortly before Christmas. We would like to offer our condolences to Bill's family and many friends. Fair winds and CAVU skies, Bill...

WILLIAM W. KIRK
MELBOURNE BEACH

William W. Kirk, 60, a chef at the Salvation Army in Melbourne, died Friday, December 21, 2007. He was born in NY, NY and came to Brevard County in 2001 from Long Island, NY. William enjoyed flying and was currently building his own airplane [a Minicoupe]. For 30 years he was a friend of Bill W. In the past he played the trumpet in the Melbourne Municipal Band. He is survived by his sister, Carol Wright and two brothers, Pat and Glenn. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Marie Kirk. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 27th at 2:30 p.m. at the Melbourne Salvation Army Chapel. Donations may be considered to the Salvation Army, 1080 S. Hickory St., Melbourne, FL 32940. Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home is serving the family.
